Choosing where to have rhinoplasty is a decision about a particular surgeon and treatment plan. Hospitals within the same country can offer different approaches, so a national label tells you very little about what is right for your nose.
Compare the proposed operation
Ask each surgeon to explain your existing structure, the changes they propose and the limitations. If an implant or your own cartilage is proposed, ask why it is appropriate and what additional surgical sites may be involved.
Compare the full journey
Request written details of the operation, tests, medicines, follow-up and any separate charges. For an overseas trip, include accommodation, transport and the cost of extending your stay. Confirm who will review you after you return home.
Revision surgery needs its own assessment
Provide previous surgical records, known materials, photographs and your current concerns. A revision plan should address what can realistically change, rather than promise to copy someone else’s result.
Which country should I choose?
Choose on the strength of the individual consultation, the suitability of the surgeon and the follow-up arrangements you can actually attend. Santongsuai can help organise a consultation in Korea and clarify the questions to ask before you commit.
